Fellow Musicians and Music Fans,

I'm helping my company, Zenph Sound Innovations, put on a pretty
unique, mixed media play/performance at the Kennedy Theater in the
Progress Energy Center this December about Art Tatum. Who's Art Tatum?
A crazy good, almost famous, Jazz solo pianist from the first half of
the 20th century. In this show, we use a high tech robotic piano to
play the part of Art Tatum, and the performance is exactly the same as
if he was playing it live. Think super-high-bit-rate MIDI... but that
doesn't even do it justice (A few of you may have seen this technology
a year or so ago when we performed some pieces by Rachmaninoff at
Peace College). Additionally, we have a live actor and some impressive
mixed media visuals dealing with racism, jazz and baseball to bring
the whole experience together.

Tickets are on sale now at Zenph.com, Ticketmaster.com and the
Progress Energy Center and shows run December 8th through the 19th.
