Hello,
Applesauce <http://www.myspace.com/applesaz> will be at Local
506<http://www.local506.com>on 10/21 in support of Faun Fables (Drag
City Artist). Applesauce is fronted
by Mark Holland, drummer for
Jennyanykind<http://www.myspace.com/jennyanykindband>.
Jennyanykind, a major-label act on Elektra in the '90's, is playing again
after an 8 year break.

*Applesauce in a Nutshell*:

Out of Chapel Hill, Applesauce is a NC vocal and guitar duo traveling the
space ways and practicing their 6-string weaving. It is lead by Mark
Holland, drummer for Jennyanykind, and is a songwriting vehicle for him.
Mark sings, plays guitar, harmonica, percussion, etc. as well as writes the
songs, records and mixes the records. Pete Waggoner (formerly of Blue
Diablo) plays lead guitar, mandolin, sings and plays harmonica too. Breaking
many a tune down country-blues or "front-porch" style, their repertoire
consists of originals and covers of blues, country-blues, folk, ragtime,
Popular song, roots, bluegrass and many other genres that can be placed into
their grinder. Many of the songs are composed by Mark. Look for their debut
release THE NEW, NEW COUNTRY BLUES OF APPLESAUCE IN 2010!
