Since high school, singer Jordan Edwards and bassist Rajesh Bangdiwala
have been making music together. In 2009 they brought in Christian
Smith (formerly of After Letting Go) on lead guitar, and Ben McDonald
on drums. With the reintroduction of James McHale on rhythm guitar,
100 Yorktown has come into their own with a sound they can run with.
They've been told they sound "like Foo Fighters mixed with Stone
Temple Pilots." Jordan is a grunge kid at heart, with favorite bands
like Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots. "Everytime he moved, I
remember the first thing he would put up in his new room was this
poster of (STP singer) Scott Weiland" recalls Rajesh. Their music also
has a hint of Metal in the guitar parts, that's Chris's doing, his
favorite band is Between the Buried and Me. Together this 5-piece
creates a music that is unlike anything else out right now, but still
has a sense of familiarity. Check them out online at
