Greetings Puppet People,
www.paperhand.org has had a great year, thanks to all of you and your
fabulous support of our work.
We thank you all so much for this gift.
We had our biggest audience for a single show (1300 at the Forest Theatre &
1500 at NCMA) and a run (12,000 folks) this summer!
"The living sea of memory" recieved so much deeply moving praise ,it was hard
to take it all in. MAny tears were shed that felt like a gentle, healing rain.
Our passion was kindled greatly by the loss of our dear friend and musical
genius, Kevin Brock. We will always miss him.
Our aim is to continue to move from the heart to bring the best art we can
produce to the triangle and the world.
to illuminate dreams and tell stories that inspire us all to think, feel,
create, and take action!
so, in that spirit, We have a new show opening in feb called...
"Love and robots!"
A puppet rock opera in zeros and ones.
"Love and Robots!" weaves an epic tale of love, sacrifice, triumph and
redemption... with, yes.... ROBOTS! Come get your circuits blown and your sockets
rocked with this latest production from Paperhand. This 2nd annual winter show
features: smart shadows, mechanical marvels, and plenty of new puppets all set to an
original musical score by Jimmy Magoo and the PaperHand Band. 001100100101001.
