1) TOMORROW (11/29, 4 PM): PROGRESSIVE CHANGE FOR AMERICA HOSTS A
CONSTITUTIONAL COFFEE PARTY!
Progressive Change For America is a national, non-partisan, non-profit
organization that exists to promote and support progressive public
policy, cultural arts, and communication. We invite all to come to our
organization's Local Media Launch Party in Chapel Hill.
Come to mingle with like minded progressives, and enlightened,
socially conscious folks in the community, as we introduce our
organization, and discuss these three critical issues:
HEALTH CARE REFORM, AFGHANISTAN and THE ECONOMY.
For more information, check out
http://progressivechangeforamerica.org, or contact Scott Satalino,
Director/Editor of Progressive Change For America, at (919)369-3511 or
by email at editor AT progressivechangeforamerica.org.
2) ART SHOW BENEFIT: "EATING FRIED FOOD WITH FRIENDS"!
Join us at the Internationalist on Saturday, December 5th from 7 - 10
PM for wine, cheese, and art! Internationalist volunteer Emily-Kate
Hannapel will be displaying some of her works as a fundraiser for the
store. More info coming soon! In the meantime, email Emily-Kate at
ekhannapel AT gmail.com with any questions.
3) 2010 PEACE CALENDARS IN STOCK!
We've just received a whole host of exciting new items from Syracuse
Cultural Workers, a distributor of peace and social justice materials.
Come by the store to check out a whole host of stickers, buttons,
bookmarks, calendars, and other items, including the gorgeous 2010
Peace Calendar. For 39 years the Peace Calendar has honored
activists, supported resistance, provided a forum for progressive
artists and offered a vision of a truly just and peaceful world. This
year features a variety of beautiful images commemorating ecology,
civil rights, simple living, and struggles for equality and justice
across the globe. To see more, check out
