Our team is one of the most accomplished and talented Horn sections (Trumpet,
Trombone and Sax) in the world today. New York is a City that melds people
from all over the world and the range of styles covers almost any imaginable
genre. We cover a large variety of styles including Latin Horns, Jazz Horns,
Pop Horns, Classical Horns and much more.

Michael (Mike) McGovern - trumpet
Buddy Rich's favourite trumpet player Michael McGovern Has recorded and
preformed (among others) with: McCoy Tyner, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones-Mel Lewis
Orchestra, Walter Murphy & the Big Apple Band, The Bay City Rollers, Stan
Getz, Jay Black & the Americans, Tony Bennett, The Four Seasons, Mel Torme,
Ray Charles, The Uptown Horns, The Supremes & hundreds of others.
Anthony (Tony) Gorruso - trumpet
Recorded and performed (among others) as Lead trumpet with Frank Sinatra,
Buddy Rich, Spyro Gyra, shows and films such as Spamelot, 42 St., Miss
Saigon, Crimes an and misdemeanors (woody allen) and is featured on hundreds
of other recordings.
Daniel (Danny) Flam - Trombone/French Horn
Former Israel Philharmonic Tromboner. Danny has Played on more than 900 of
albums in varaious genres. He has performed with artists such as Michel
Legrand, Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Mehta, Yo-Yo ma, Bobby McFerrin and many
more. Danny is an expert in various ethnic music genres including middle
eastern music, modern jewish music, and more.
Charley Gordon - Trombone
NYC Broadway and Studio musician. Performed, recorded, and toured with Stevie
Wonder, Joe Jackson, Bette Midler, Marc Anthony, Shakira, Incognito along
with a seven year stint with Blood, Sweat & Tears. Performed jazz concerts
with Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Andrew Hill, Clark Terry, Toshiko
Akiyoshi Big Band, Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra, The Vanguard Jazz
Orchestra ,Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra Jr. Currently a member of Ed Palermo's
Frank Zappa Tribute Band.
Ron Bertolet Sax/Woodwinds
Ron's TV recording credits include "Living Single" with Queen Latifah and
Bill Cosby's cartoon series "Little Bill". Ron has appeared on numerous jazz
recordings with artists such as guitarist Mike Stern and has performed live
with various different artists ranging from pop vocalist Bobby Caldwell to
saxophonist Jeff Coffin of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
Jack Bashkow - sax/woodwinds
Jack's Recording credits include Keith Richards; Marc Cohn; Buster
Poindexter; Lionel Hampton; Frank Foster; Clarence Clemmons, New Kids On The
Block; Naughty By Nature; Snap; Joan Jett; Grandmaster Flash; Rebecca
Pidgeon; Southside Johnny; Baby Jane Dexter; Jane Olivor; Claude Nougaro; The
45 King; and Queen Latifah and others. Plays on broaway/off broadway. He is
also listed in the 2006 "Who's Who in America."
GUEST ARTISTS
Dominic Derasse - Trumpet
Dominic Derasse, trumpeter, graduated with first prize from the Paris
Conservatory in his native France where he performed with the "Follies
Bergere", the Michel Legrand orchestra, Pierre Boulez Ensemble
Intercontemporain and the Paris Opera, among others. Mr. Derasse is sought
after for both his versitility and his virtuosity. Principal Trumpet for the
EOS Orchestra (in New York), he has also performed with the New York
Philharmonic, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the American Symphony, Concordia
and over 25 broadway shows. He has appeared on numerous musical recordings,
including more than 60 motion picture soundtracks and commercials for over
100 different companies. His most recognizable TV theme performance is
probably for "NBC Nightly News."
Kenny Rampton - Trumpet
Kenny's first road gig was a world tour with The Ray Charles Orchestra. After
leaving Ray Charles' band, Kenny went on the road with legendary jazz drummer
Panama Francis and The Savoy Sultans and soon thereafter, with The Jimmy
McGriff Quartet. As a sideman, Kenny has also performed with such greats as
Charles Earland, Dr. John, Lionel Hampton, Slide Hampton, Jon Hendricks,
Tommy Igoe and The Birdland Big Band, Takeshi Inomata, Illinois Jacquet,
Geoff Keezer, The Lincoln Center Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, The Lincoln
Center Jazz Orchestra, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride, Eijiro Nakagawa,
The Chico O'Farrill Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra, Dr. Lonnie Smith, The WDR Big
Band, Joe Zawinul and a host of others. Since 1995, Kenny has been a regular
member of The Mingus Big Band (playing both lead trumpet and as a featured
soloist). Kenny also plays with The Mingus Orchestra. Some of his Broadway
credits include "Young Frankenstein", "Chicago: The Musical", "A Chorus
Line", "Spamalot", and many more. Kenny can also be heard on many R&B, Blues,
Pop and Hip Hop recordings. Kenny has played on countless jingles, TV and
radio adds
