i dunno. i was still able to get all Merge's new releases through
Touch & Go and i've never had to use ADA directly for anything. i got
copies of the new M Ward just this week from both Touch & Go and Merge
directly. maybe they did both? i thought though that Touch & Go would
have been the ones to offer their distributed catalog to ADA.

i'm sure we'll hear from them guys soon enough!!

it was super sad news to hear yesterday. i really liked Touch & Go's
distribution. a lot. it was a great way to be exposed to and to get in
a ton of good stuff at once. at least the label will still be
functioning so not all is lost there. hopefully one of the other
labels will pick up the distribution as it was for them.

but then again, judging by the Sound Opinions panel, if there's not
even room for talk of the physical medium in an hour and a half panel
discussion on the future of the music industry, then....

blasted mp3 questions! ;)
