there were a couple of reasons...
ed schultz is live from noon -3p, so when al franken decided to run for
senate - we wanted to put ed into that time slot. and, we have
received so many requests to carry randi rhodes we wanted to put her on
the air live from 3-6p.
as for thom hartman, we received mixed reviews from listeners when he
was a guest host. his show will be on during weekend refeeds.

Too bad they decided to replace Al Franken's dry, dry wit with Ed
Schultz/Randi Rhodes instead of Thom Hartmann. Thom's show would be a
welcome contrast to Stephanie Miller, I feel. His shows usually eschew
bits and skits for really high signal/noise. He filled in for Franken
one week l;ast year and I found his show to be extremely informative.
