the dry cleaner on the main block of 9th st fixed a
jacket lining very well for me once, but couldn't do
zippers or buttons.

the dry cleaner across from mcdonald's on franklin
street repaired a zipper for me, but they replaced the
entire zipper with one that is kinda too industrial
and out of place for the garment. i went in with a
pair of nice woolen slacks that had a broken but very
elegant, understated, and nearly invisible zipper. i
came out with a zipper that looked like it belonged in
combat: brass, almost half an inch wide, and big
gaping teeth too close to the flap.
