*So I was listening to this album the other day, called *Wrath of
Circuits*[TMT
Review <http://www.tinymixtapes.com/href=>], and... "NEIN!" What? No, I'm
serious. So anyway, this one song, "Faint Sounds," is all about having a
fear of technology, even though the band used all these samples in the
background and electronic noises above sharp guitars -- you know, that kind
of post-punkish sound the kids like these days, and.. "NEIN!!" Dude, WTF?
Shut up. That song rules, what is your deal? And since when do you speak
German anyway? We were in Spanish together, remember that one time when
Señora Morgan asked you about quinceañeras and you just kept yelling "Vena
yugulara! Vena yugulara!"? Man. That was a good day.

Anyway. The best musical export to come out of Durham, NC -- The Nei-- oh.
Oh, I see. Aren't you clever. Well, like I was saying, Durham four-piece The
Nein is indeed headed out on tour in support of their latest release (and
first full-length on Canadian-based Sonic Unyon), *Wrath of Circuits*. Born
out of the demise of White Octave, the band had self-releasd a small handful
of EPs before signing to Canadian-based Sonic Unyon in 2004, thus becoming
the first American band to ink a deal with the label. You can take a listen
to the new album here, if you feel so inclined. "NEIN!" Whatever.
