And Kevin Clark! How could you neglect to mention the movie's *real* star?

Hey listserv, just a heads up that there will be a free midnight
screening of live-action/animated film Conductor - the movie,
featuring the music of the Triangle's own Comas, on Friday, 9/17 at
the Carolina Theatre in Chapel Hill.

"Conductor, the movie, blends the full album of music with an
elliptical science-fiction love story with live footage, polished
animation (robots and weird floating schematics galore), haywire
topology and cool visual effect of light pouring off objects in
bubbles." - Pitchfork Magazine

As a bonus DVD offered with original pressings of The Comas'
critically acclaimed new album of the same name, Conductor, the
movie, is a romantic science fiction adventure that follows the
album's 11 songs. Notorious Pictures director, If/Then graphic
designer, and 2D/3D animator Brent Bonacorso brings the story to life
through a mixture of live action and animated sequences. The film
stars Michelle Williams (Dawson's Creek) and Comas frontman Andy
Herod. The Comas' Conductor (CD plus the Movie on DVD) is available
at Schoolkids and CD Alley on Yep Roc Records.
