Good morning all:

the South Korean CC team, together with the Asia Pacific RCs - is currently collecting suggestions for speakers for the Global Summit. They are looking for activists, creators, and beneficiaries of the commons with inspirational stories in the different regions. Currently, the list of potential speakers for the summit is largely dominated by US and some European orgs. The organisers believe, however, that the summit should bring diverse voices and stories of creators and users of the commons to the stage as much as possible. Is there any individual or organisation in your country/region who you think would be a good speaker candidate they should consider inviting?

Kelsey, I continue developing your google doc further into a ccAfrica GS Planning document - I hope you don’t mind. But it’s great to have everything in one place I think. I have added another sheet to the spreadsheet called “speakers”. Please do add your suggestions to this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-5YNxLSjKeTrw5lH7x2Ei16MoNsTDldvA53Sk0kR7Kc/edit#gid=1761992075 or let Alex or myself know and we will do it.

(And while you are at it, please continue to add information to the other sheets as well. For instance, we need some more ideas for funders.)

Have a great day,

Tobias
