Hey everyone!

Hope all is well with you. :)

About a week ago I was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia representing Kelsey Wiens on the Kumusha Bus Project.

As part of the project, I gave a number of talks to different people and groups on Creative Commons and they took great interest in it.

I had some conversations with different people about creating a CC community in Ethiopia and getting it affiliated. Specifically, Seble Baraki, Abel Asrat and Nebiyu Sultan (all Cc’d) took great interest and are working towards this. (Seble has been in touch with Tobias and Alex about this before I believe)

In my conversations with them, they expressed interest in connecting with other CC affiliates in Africa to seek guidance and support through the process.

So this email is to connect you - the CC Africa community - with this team. Let’s support and cheer them on. :)

Credit to Kelsey for creating the opportunity to spread CC in Ethiopia.

Have an awesome weekend!

Kind Regards,

Simeon Oriko
