Title: Re: [Cc-uk] Use of Creative Commons Licence in UK
I am. You will note that the draft UK license is unusable in Scotland (see clause 8g) and there is no alternative to the international license at present. I don’t know what Creative Commons is doing about this.

Subject: [Cc-uk] Use of Creative Commons Licence in UK

I am trying to find out what organisations in the UK are currently using the Creative Commons licence.  I work for an educational organisation, called Learning and Teaching Scotland which is a national public body sponsored by the Scottish Executive Education Department. We are looking to create a number of licence agreements that could be used in different situations regarding digital content that we are procuring and rolling out to Scottish education.  In this context we have been looking at the Creative Commons Licence and would be interested to find out what other organisations in the UK are using it.

Any
information or suggestions would be appreciated.

Many thanks.
