Hi all,

 

In case you missed it, a team at Otago University, alongside teams across Australasia, spent this last weekend writing an undergraduate Media Studies textbook.  The team are going to spend the next few months editing the results, in time for the start of the first semester, 2014.

 

They’ve also been assiduously documenting their planning sessions – and even recording hangouts – so that they can also produce a ‘cookbook’ for other open textbook teams to learn from the experiment.  If you want to learn more, I introduce the project here.
