Hi all,

I’ve got some news. For Open Access Week 2012, CCANZ is hosting a series of posts on Open Access in Aotearoa on our website. As you can see below, the current line-up includes a great mix of librarians, academics and publishers. We’ve got:

·         Cameron Neylon, Director of Advocacy, Public Library of Science

·         Sigi Jöttkandt, Open Humanities Press

·         Fabiana Kubke, Auckland University

·         Siouxsie Wiles, Auckland University

·         Paul Gardner, Canterbury University

·         David Nichols, University of Waikato

·         Richard White, University of Otago Copyright Officer

·         Dean Peterson, Manager Research Funding, Royal Society of New Zealand

·         Wayne Mackintosh, Director OER Foundation, Otago Polytechnic.

·         Penny Carnaby, University Librarian; Professor Digital Knowledge Systems, Lincoln University

·         Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Director of Scholarly Communication, Modern Language Association

·         Alice Meadows, Director, Society Relations at John Wiley and Sons

·         Sarah Blatchford, Taylor & Francis

The posts will roll out from October 22-28, and will then be kept in a dedicated section of the CCANZ website.

I’ll be promoting this officially after October 15, so look out for that.

Cheers,

Matt
