Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand discussion

Hi all,

I'm very excited to announce the launch of the new Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand website! As always, the link is: http://www.creativecommons.org.nz/

Many, many thanks to Richard Best, who put together the new site, and to Jane Hornibrook, for managing the project most of the way through.

Specific to the CC community, you'll notice that we’ve done away with user accounts. I had planned to send around a mass email to these account holders, explaining the situation, but the old site doesn't actually allow me to do that. If you had one of these accounts, don’t worry—we will delete your information, and you won’t be getting any emails from us.

The forums have also gone. In their place, we're going to make the blog a central part of the CCANZ site. There will be new posts once or twice a week, written by me and some special guest writers, on topics like OER, open access, CC in the creative community (and so on). I encourage you all to post comments there, when the posts kick off.
