I'm wondering: considering that there's already a very nice standard
for expressing Dublin Core metadata in RDF:

identical metadata format for Creative Commons?
The format is identical -- RDF/XML, and CC uses many DC properties (not necessarily correctly, but that should be fixed shortly, pending dcterms:rightsHolder approval by the DC usage board).
Was it just to reify
the rights and license information? Couldn't that have been done
another way -- say, by defining a Rights vocabulary?
Essentially that's what CC did, but called it a License vocabulary.
Has anyone worked on a standard or guidelines for putting Creative
Commons license information into standard Dublin Core RDF encoding?
I think CC licesnes will be an example case for the DC rights work mentioned above.
