The language of the license still says that
attribution must be given "if provided",
which makes it difficult for someone to
put their name on the work but not require
attribution.

If CC is still going to put Attribution
in with all of its other licenses
(i.e. if ShareAlike will require attribution
"if provided"), then there still is no way
for an author to waive attribution without
being completely anonymous, i.e. not supplying
their name or a title for the work, and a
clear way to waive attribution ought to be
defined.

If CC is going to separate Attribution out
from all the other licenses and require
authors to specify CC-BY-NC when they want
attribution and CC-NC when they waive attribution,
then that is another solution.
