Hey, so, I happen to agree with you about these things. But I also
think it's better to get artists to come half-way towards real
freedom than let them sit on the all-rights-reserved bench.

I respectfully disagree. It's better to maintain the strength and coherency of the brand and work on selling it than it is to dilute the brand to please hangers-on who won't actually pay for the brand.
