Hi all,

Thanks for Rebecca's and other's suggestions,

I like the idea of a festival too! Take the reference from Taiwan
Launch it is basically: Speech + Existing CC user sharing +
Announcement of a CD licensing in CC + CC Party. Maybe we can plan for
in a similar format.

I've put together all of the above suggestions in the wiki:
http://cchk.wetpaint.com/page/Launch+Plan , including a new page named
"Logistic" for some logistic information like venue.

For Jack's question, we are figuring out for the donation process.
Will let you know and announce on this e-group ASAP. Of course we want
to start reaching for funding asap, but we need to figure out what we
want to do and put together a budget asap too. :-)

I think the idea of a manifesto is good as anyway we need to settle on
some kind of "message" to spread to the public. I've an idea of
pushing it further, how about inviting other organizations to sign /
join the manifesto of using creative commons as much as possible when
publishing their work, and we will have a list of CC users -- This can
show that we share the same vision, make the public know that more and
more people is using CC, and also easier for longer-term promotional
projects to approach existing org. licensing their content in CC.

Bests,
Ben
