I will already be in Taipei on August 1st. On Jun 25, 2007, at 3:49 AM, Jon Phillips wrote: On Sun, 2007-06-24 at 14:23 +0800, Matthew MF Yuen wrote: Dear All,
This is fine with me. If you need me to help in setting up a meeting place at HKUST, please let me know. Need to fix the time quickly so that I can arrrange the schedule for myself.

Look like I prefer AUG 1 for a meeting, but please others, speak up quick! We need to lock in plane tickets and schedules :)

Hi all, the best time for me is going to be late July, early august. I have to be back in SF pretty quick after wikimania.
Is during the week okay? I'm also quite interested in meeting with businesses who are interested in using CC licensing. I would like to spend 1-2 days in Hong Kong to get CC-HK setup and then also setup some high level business meetings to present CC to public and privately to key businesses.
What dates seem the best? July 30, 31, August 1, 2 all are open, but I have to be in Tapei for wikimania AUG 2-5.
Cheers! Would it make sense to have one legal meetup to get the legal team squared away? And then, have a wider public meetup?

Dear Matthew and Jon,
Perhaps early August is better as Jon can join then. Can Jon confirm a date when he is in HK?

Dear Jon,
The important person is Yahong. I would like to pin down her diary first. I would be flexible to accomodate.
Dear Yahong,
Shall we go by July 15 as per suggested?
Regards,
Matthew

Ok, sounds good...what dates are good for you then? Like I said, I can possibly come through early Aug. near wikimania in Taipei.

As far as we could tell, based on postings to this
list,
1) we've two legal scholars Ms. Yahong Li (HKU) and
Rebecca Ong (City U - kindly introduced by Kenneth) 2) several individuals associated with 'academic'

So Uta ... several potential candidates and
institutions! ;)

Sure, but Catharina, is really the ideal person to do
this :)
