Hi all,
A.
Regarding the hosting question I'll let you know the status and will try to come up with what the prospects are. Stay tuned for that ...
B.
Regarding lobbying / advocacy, you can find the respective policy on the CC wiki, see here:
If that leaves you with questions still, let us know. Also it is advisable in any case to consult with Gwen/me for such substantial requests as Matej describes, because it can sometimes be hard to tell what exactly is still in line with CC's mission in such cases. In related matters, all of you who are involved in the legislatory processes of implementation of the EU CMO Directive will receive a follow-up on that today. We're still compiling the overview here.
Best
John

Hi from a developers perspective I can confirm that there has been no activity there for the last 7 months. GitHub can be hard to read on that, sometimes something seems inactive but is still active underwater. This is not the case here.Best,Maarten

I had some contact with Matt Lee at HQ and he told me they're working on a new design for the .org site. And a different template for affiliate sites. They started a github for this, but I'm not sure what the timeline and/or progress is by now. Haven't heard from him in a while. On Tue, Aug 18, 2015 at 4:33 PM, Patrick Peiffer <peiffer.patrick AT gmail.com> wrote:Dear John,I have one question, although it may not be directly relevant for the call, I'd like to know the current state of affairs anyway:The CC luxembourg site is currently offline, I need ot have a new site. What are the options these days? Hosting at lu.creativecommons.org? Others? I know of CC Netherlands' wordpress theme and tend to have another wordpress site if only because the old site was a wordpress site and I have a wordpress backup going back to 2005.Best regards,

It is expected that this is going to be very brief compared to usual as most of CC staff have met in person last week in Vancouver (the regions were represented there by SooHyun Pae, our RC Asia). If you have anything important to be put on the agenda of the call, let Gwen/me know in the next 3 hours. In any case we'll get back to this list with a digest of what was discussed in the call and also probably with some results of the in-town week.BestJohn & Gwen
