Hi All,
ELLAK and several of its institutional members are interested in this program, particularly with regards to OER. I will get in touch with GUNET which is leading our OER efforts in Greece and get back to you. Also UCL from the UK may be interested and we may be already doing something in that direction.
My only concern is the deadline which if it is April it is close to impossible to catch...
Best wishes,
pRo

Hi Tarmo, the idea is very rough for now, I think it would be best to develop it in a larger group - I think we could get several people interested. I think for everyone the challenge lies mainly in not knowing too much about Erasmus, what kinds of projects have a chance of getting funding, etc. Any chance you can get such general advice in your university? Otherwise, we should simply read the documents more closely ourselves and see what we come up with.Anyone else on this list interested in some brainstorming on a shared educational project? Get in touch!AlekOn Mar 11, 2014, at 12:33, Tarmo Toikkanen <tarmo.toikkanen AT aalto.fi> wrote:Hi! I represent CC Finland. I’m also employed as a researcher in Aalto university in Finland, with quite a long record and a dedicated project management and grant writing service for EU projects. If there’s a good idea (maybe a bit more than what you provided just now), I can see if there’s interest in pushing this forward.

Dear all,I'm not sure whether you're aware of Erasmus Plus, the new EU funding source that funds educational project. There are ongoing calls for all sorts of projects, with deadlines in April. I think this would be a great source for funding for shared work on OER, and maybe more broadly open issues. It seems that our main challenge is having on board an institution with experience in writing such grants, and willing to lead the process (and later potentially the project). Can you please let us know if there's any institution close to you that could play such a role? It would be great to have funding for shared work!best,Alek--koordynator, Creative Commons PolskaEuropean Policy Advisor, Creative Commons
