Dear all,

it seems that we were in general agreement to meet during OKFestival, but that this should be done during the actual conference days and not tacked on to the already quite full program. The OKFestival is timely since we have a few things that it would be good to discuss as a group towards the end of the year, including:

 - the 10th birthday of CC licenses,
 - the strategy for 2013 (we'll have details about the CC HQ planning at that point),
 - our relationships with the GLAM sector (as per previous mail),
 - our engagement in education and research,
 - our thoughts on policy work,
 - the 4.0 license

Participating from CC HQ will be Jessica Coates (Affiliate Network Coordinator) and Timothy Vollmer  (Manager of Policy and Data).

On Wednesday the 19th of September, the School of Open is tentatively planning a meeting in the afternoon to which everyone is invited (separate information will follow later). My proposal is therefore that we plan a CC Europe meeting for Thursday the 20th of September, ca 10-16 incl lunch. That would enable us to be flexible with the travel of the individual affiliates.

Affiliates who will be there during the entire festival can arrive at whatever convenient times. Affiliates who will be there for both School of Open and CC Europe can arrive on the Wednesday morning, and leave again Thursday evening or Friday morning. Some affiliates would only want to attend the CC Europe meeting, and they could then arrive Wednesday and leave again Thursday evening or Friday morning.
