Dear all,

Below some additional info relevant for planning travel to Luxembourg.

First of all, apologies to NEXA: the copy and paste devils made them disappear as co-organisers of the workshop. They do manage two full panels so they are actually very actively involved!

2. The CC Europe meeting is on Saturday 30th January. Many people have requested it to be rather later than earlier in the day, so it'll start at 17h and we'll break up for dinner later. Location to be announced. Details http://europe.creativecommons.org after login.

3. Airport Frankfurt Hahn is still missing from the Workshop page. It is anong others a Ryanair hub and is actually closer to Luxembourg than to Frankfurt. There are ca 20 bus shuttles per day from Hahn airport directly to Luxembourg "Gare centrale" train station. Shuttle itself takes 1h50 mins.
http://www.hahn-airport.de/default.aspx?menu=by_bus&cc=en#
The shuttle can be booked at www.flibco.com and a return costs between 10 and 35 EUR.

4. Airport Charleroi (Brussels-South) is also missing, another low cost hub, but harder to get to: http://www.charleroi-airport.com/en
The train from Luxembourg-Gare to Charleroi Sud station takes ca 2hrs 45 and you need to take a bus to the airport for another 10 mins (ligne A: A CHARLEROI Sud - GOSSELIES Airport).
Train timetable: http://www.cfl.lu

5. Maybe interesting to some of you: The Commission holds an information day, specifically on the objectives for digital libraries, on the 4th February:
- Access to European Rights Information - Open access to scientific information
- Statistics on cultural heritage digitisation activities
 http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/activities/econtentplus/events/cip_infoday_2010/index_en.htm
(Please note, that if you stay until the 4th, your return journey and accomodation from 3rd to 4th are not eligible for Communia anymore)

If you haven't registered yet, please do so at the workshop page:

See you,
On behalf of the organisers:
EEAR, Germany, NEXA, Italy and Luxcommons, Luxembourg with the support of CRID, Belgium and CERSA, France
