As a Nietzschean I have no idea of what you mean by moral rights.

“The victory of the moral ideal is achieved by the same ‘immoral’ means as
every other victory: force, lies, slander, injustice.”

My take is that morality is 'the prejudice of the powerful'.

I suspect I have much in common with most legislators.

And since they always act from the moral high ground - because democracy is
taken to be morality - I haven't the faintest idea where to start.

legislation in Europe

Dear all,

I made a promise at the meeting in Torino to make a collection and a
survey of all moral rights provisions in national legislation across Europe.
I am keeping my promise....
.
Me and Maja Lubarda will work on this little project, however it is
impossible to do it, or better said, we are not willing to do it,
without your cooperation.
I made this point clear already at the meeting in Torino.

So I kindly ask you, national CC representatives
1. to send us all relevant provisions from your legislation. Our e-mail
addresses are maja.bogataj AT ipi.si and maja.lubarda AT gmail.com.
Without your cooperation this will not work. Even of in some cases
national copyright laws are easily accessible online. We will not search
for them.
Please, send relevant provisions in English.
2. In addition to that, please attach also the current version of moral
rights provision in your CC licence and
3. an English explanation why your national CC licenses handle moral
right issues in that manner (you had to explain this to Christiane
during the CC adaptation process).

Additionally I kindly ask CC administration in Berlin to send me the
list of relevant national representatives. I know that this is available
online - but please, you help me do it.
I need a list with names and e-mails of legal persons from every
jurisdiction not just from the ones that sat at the table in Turin. I
need this for my check list.

I kindly ask to respond and send me what I propose no latter than on
February 18.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Maja Bogataj
