- Subject: [cc-au] Cancel with ASCAP

Hi CCau,
I have just instructed ASCAP that i shall cancel with them, it seems the artist does not have the right to do what they choose with the things they create, with ASCAP or with APRA. Companies like EMI music, ASCAP, CC, just do what they want. Everything comes back to the artist. The artist without a lawyer is doomed. Its all about "everyone" getting what they want before the artist.
For a moment i thought artists had rights. They don't, the have even fewer with a lawyer. Jamison
