- Subject: [BL] Installing g++ for BL3
- Date: Wed, 4 Apr 2012 20:51:13 -0700
According to http://www.howtoforge.com/learning-c-cplusplus-step-by-step-p2
, I could install the GCC's C++ compiler by something like
'(package-manager) gcc-c++' or '(package-manager) install g++'
Since according to http://distro.ibiblio.org/baslinux/ "it is also
possible to install packages from Slackware 4.0 (using the pkg
command)", I would assume that I could perform something like a 'pkg
gcc-c++' from BL3 and this would perform correctly, yes??
Little on this from http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/blfiles.htm
Note that the Slackware 4.0 packagelist shows gcc in the d1 diskset as
./slakware/d1/gcc.tgz .
Thanks.
