I posted a package for lucent modems at http://keesan.freeshell.org
I think it includes kernel 2.2.27 (or 2.2.26). Also 2.2.16 and 2.4.31.
I find they are much more stable than ISA or older external modems, which kept hanging up on me.

Is there a good guide for this?
For dialup on BL3?
As long as you have a real modem
(which sits on a COM port), the
pppsetup utility should get you up
and running. Just execute: pppsetup
and edit the config files that it
shows you.
If you have a software modem, you
will need a suitable driver for your
type of modem. Sindi may be able to
help you -- she has had some success
with software modems.
Personally I hate software modems and
have nothing to do with them.
Cheers,
Steven
