I normaly use BL3 and installed the first ssh on
http://www.johnbeck.org/bl3. Seems to work ok.
SDF:
I did not come further. RXVT runs fine in textmode. Thats all.
Tried it with DSL, does not work at all.
I looked in the X11/bin. Just some small programms, exept XDMCP.
'The DMX server is known as the front-end X server, while the servers
that the DMX server connects to are known as the back-end servers.'
Perhaps they do something with that to get it work.
According to http://sdf.org/?tutorials/software
X11 Programs require MetaARPA membership. I'm just a user.
So I think, SDF found a way, stopping me from using Xprogramms.
CJB:
Tried it with BL3. The SSH-connection is much faster then SDF. I tried
to open a Xwindow. After a long time a window apeared, without a
prompt, and after 2 seconds it was away again. I got the errormessage
on CJB: /dev/pts/104 not found.

May be. But I'm to silly to get it work.
I looked in CJB /usr/local/packages and found VNC. Thats for remute
computers. It should be work with a java-client or with VNCviewer in
win and in linux. Without opening ports on your mashine or rooter.
You have to installhome vnc, vncserver, xterm, jwm, xroot and some other
stuff. Have a look in vncserver, a perlscript, to see what you need.
DSL comes with vncviewer, and i tried that.
But i'm not realy shure if the Xvnc server was started. They talk about
ports between 5400, 5800 and 5900. Perhaps someone is able to get this
things work.
Visualserver did not answer me yet.
Have a lot of fun.
