To install as (and other tools required for compiling in Linux), use the pkg command to install the binutils.tgz package from the slakware/d1 directory of Slackware 4.0. Tested it, it didn't work. Anyway, I discoveret that the "as" included with freebasic seems to work when I enter the command manually (using the same command that i see with fbc -v test.bas). Now I'm really confused |
