hello guys
I want to convert the small videos that I make on my Mobil phone to
avi so that I can sent them to my mother and she can watch. (windows
Media player don't want to play .gp3 files from my experience). From
googling i found that ffmpeg should be able to do that. I have mplayer
installed and mplayer can play the .gp3 files. As I was trying to find
out how to download and install FFmpeg i thought that maybe FFmpeg is
already in my system packed together with mplayer. I cant find it with
find -name FFmpeg
and that kind of search in the system so I think not. An other
possibility is that I don't need FFmpeg. Mplayer is able to play the
files so it is not such a big step ahead to be able to writ the file
to an other file in an other format. I don't know which mplayer
arguments and options will do that, but if it is possible I be happy
if someone could tell me.
/Mikkel
