The latest version of BasicLinux is 3.50 (loop version).
The ramdisk version is older (3.40).

BL2 has a Slackware 7.1 foundation (glibc-2.1).
BL3 has a static busybox foundation and comes
with some libc5 libraries and binaries.

There's no glibc in BL3, but you can replace the
libc5 stuff if you want. Simply delete everything
in the /lib directory and then delete the binaries
that depend on those binaries (use ldd to find
which binaries are dependent). That will leave
you plenty of room to add your uClibc libraries
and binaries.

Note: unlike most versions of Linux, BL3 still boots
when the /lib directory is empty. The browser (links)
also works and so does the editor. Xvesa also works
without libraries (but the wm doesn't).

Cheers,
Steven
