Can someone who maintains the BL list take a peek at why this gents
emails don't let him join us in discussions? ;-)

John,

Do you have any idea how to get in touch with someone
at lists.ibiblio.org? I've mailed (from yahoo, no bounces)
both the baslinux list maintainer and the the administrator
of all the lists, and gotten no response.

My attempts to return the challenge keep getting rejected,
even after I dug into the SMTP Protocol and apparently
corrected the error:

> RCPT TO generated following response:
>504 <MESN19901>: Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname

>Original message follows.

>Received: from Node188-42-42-66.1dial.com [66.42.42.188] by MESN19901
> with ESMTP

See? My HELO (entered manually) gives my actual fqdn (of the moment)
and still gets rejected. I wonder if 1dial.com is blacklisted there?

I really want to join the list, but there's no way I'm going to
use that gawdawful web interface. I am subscribed to a half-dozen
mailing lists right now, all of which are death on spammers and
trolls, and don't have trouble sending mail _anywhere_ else!

Thanks,

Lee
