Mail is not working for me in BL3. If I type 6 often nothing happens, and
sometimes I get one line of confusing text starting 0/0 term 128x47 (I
forget - is it supposed to work like this?. One time I was able to type
1 and get the configuration screen but since then nothing at all happens.
Q always works to quit the menu. I notice that the numbers and Q are in
bold. This caused problems for me in an early version of BL3. I might
try editing the menu to remove the bold and see if it works better.
Q was also sometimes not working.
To write mail, after typing 6, I need to type 'C' to compose (as explained in H for help). That works now.
I fixed the problem of 1 and 6 and q often not working by removing the bolds in the menu (deleted \033[1m and \033[m).
Menu items now read (1) (2) .... (Q)
I hope this can be fixed in BL3.41. The bold looks pretty but causes problems. It has happened on three of our computers already - one Compaq (I think) and two DFI of different ages (for sure).
I think Steven has set up the menu to send mail out immediately now instead of later. pmail -o Not sure.
