Windows XP system with a floppy drive should boot from it. Most XP systems still
have floppy drives. You may have to change the boot order or something in your
BIOS. Also there are plenty of quite capable CD based distros out there, notably
Mandrake Move. Also check out the ditrtibution list on the LWN website, where
you can find a whole section devoted to CD based distros

Can this be made to work? Can BL be written to and boot from a
CD-ROM? All that is available any more are Windows XP systems. They
won't boot off a floppy.
