Hello!
I have a question. I have a RLDL56DPF (R6785-88) Rockwell modem.. i was wondering if there is a driver for linux...
can you help me?

Thanks.

I have the same modem (it works in Win98) and online research suggested that there are no linux drivers for it, but you can do your own search in
the linmodem-HOWTO. The link to the list of supported hardware seems to be broken there. Some Lucent, PCTel, Conexant and a couple other brands have linux drivers but it looks complicated.

Does e-bay offer any hardware modems? People are switching to DSL now and we were given four 56K hardware modems. You might need to update them from X2 to V90 standard if they are from 1997, when the two standards were both in use.
