Title: Telnet daemon
Nguyen.

You may want to disable nameserver information in the /etc/resolv.conf file
or specify right nameserver which can be reached from your network.
I have had similar problem and solved by disabling the namesever information.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Woonsig

Subject: [BL] Telnet daemon

Dear All

In my BL, I installed telnet sever (telnetd), so that I can remote control it.
And when I log on my BL from a Windows PC (by using telnet command),
It takes me 50 seconds to wait for "login:" prompt.
So, please tell me why it is so slow like that.
And How to overcome the problem.

PS: My telnetd is from inetutils-1.4.0 package.
And telnet client is in Window XP.

Best regards
Nguyen.
