I have had other problems with Cyrix cpus of this age, in particular one
DOS database program won't run on them. It runs on older or newer Cyrix
cpus. But I also cannot get the 2 floppy thing to work on my other two
pentium computers with different cpus. The Cyrix is the one with the
divide overflow, the others have other problems.

I think this Part 1 / Part2 method is somehow hardware-specific.

What cpus has it worked on?

We have two of these cpus, one labelled IBM and one Cyrix (same cpu).
One came in a computer given to us to recycle (the computer works except
with Windows) and the other was in a computer that was struck by
lightning.
