Just succesfully installed baslinux 2.1 including X. Downloaded netscape
4.73 from slackware 7.1 (1.5 hours by modem...). A nice icon appeared in
icewm. Netscape, however, failed to run:
"netscape: error in loading shared libraries: libBrokenLocale.so.1: can't
open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Probably I have to install one or more libraries (like elflibs for
netscape 4.05 in baslinux 1.7)?
Looked around in slackware 7.1 and found four possible candidates:
cxxlibs (A3)
elflibs (A4)
glibcso (A6)
libc5 (A9)
Any idee which one I need? Would it be wise to install them all in order
to get a system able to cope with various binaries? Or might that yield
conflicting situations? Other libraries needed?
Kind regards, Nomdo
