- Subject: [BL] where df reads from
- Date: Fri, 7 Nov 2003 09:57:05 +0100 (CET)
I recall a discussion onlist not long ago about where the df command reads
its data from. If I recall correctly, someone was getting an erroneous
/dev report (the /dev/xxx df was reporting on was not the correct one).
I'm experiencing such a problem now (unfortunately, on a non-BL system)
and am wondering how it might be fixed. Can anyone address this issue, or
perhaps recall what the result of the previous discussion was? I tired
searching the list archive but was unsuccessful in viewing search results,
though I tried with 3 different browsers.
Thanks, James
PS Looked at the df manapge, but it's really spartan and has nothing
related to the query.
