- Subject: [BL] Mount ramdisk in baslinux 1
- Date: Tue, 23 Sep 2003 02:35:26 -0400 (EDT)
Hi,
Anyone got any good tips on how to modify the ramdisk fs in baslinux 1.*?
If I try
mount -o loop /dev/ram /mnt
it moans about there being no support for the loop device in the kernel.
I tried
cat /dev/ram > /c/linux/root2
as well, but that gave me IO errors near the end.
I tried gzipping it and using that as the initrd, but it wasn't happy.
Thanks
Ian
