It's surprisingly easy, actually. Just set up X as you normally would on
the clients. Most important thing is to get a satisfactorily working X
display on the clients. Of course, you'll need a working display on
the server as well. Then, from the command line on the client issue
the command

----------------------
X -query 192.168.x.x
----------------------

where 192.168.x.x is the address of the "server" machine. You may need to
do some editing on the server to enable it to export its display. How you
do that will depend on what distro you're running on the server. I use a
Debain variant on my server, so how I managed on it will perhaps not be
very helpful for you. I never tried setting up a BL machine as a terminal
server. Steven should have some input on that, though. Once you have all
the settings right for exporting the display from the server, you
should get a login screen on the clients after running the command I
listed above. There is some helpful information on doing this in the BL 1
FAQ, btw. I don't know of any advantage or disadvantage to using either
BL1 or BL 2 for this. I think it probably wouldn't matter much, unless
you have hardware issues on the clients that would keep you from running
BL2 (like, if you have 486SX's or less than 8Mb RAM).
