It is possibly an extended variant of MATIYNAH, 'a resting place, an encampment'. 
See also the אדן EDEN, 'basis, rest', of Ex. 38:27.

MSR or MCR may be the Hebrew מעצר 'a place of halting, stopping or collecting'. 
It may also be related to the Hebrew צורה 'form', or even צרורה 'aggregated'.
