I hope it's okay, if I also ask about the language in Sepher Yetzirah in this group, it should still be in the realm of biblical hebrew.

I'm wondering about the word מְכֻוֶּנֶת (M:KUW.ENET), can it somehow be derived from the word מְכוֹנָה (M:KWONFH place, abode)?

Hi,

In our study group we are currently reading Genesis, but we have also just dauntlessly begun reading Sepher Yetzirah, but we are now struggeling somewhat with the words - and we can't seem to find a dictionary that seems adequate!

We are using:
The Concise Dictionary of Classical Hebrew by Cline
Dictionary of the Targumim, Talmud Bavli, Talmud Yerushalmi and Midrashic Literature by Jastrow

But is there a dictionary that is more suited to the task than the above?

Sincerely,
Jesper
