What do you mean that he didn’t get there? Genesis 29:2 ff clearly indicate
his successful arrival.
Genesis 28:10 “And Jacob exited Beer Sheba and went towards Haran.” There is
nothing in this verse that indicates arrival or non-arrival, just the action
of heading towards Haran. Then verses 28:11–29:1 recount a significant event
that happened on the way. Then the successful arrival in 29:2–.
