- Subject: [b-hebrew] Isaiah 44:15 idol of fire god?

I was just trying to see if there was a way for Isaiah 44:15 lamo to mean "to
them" instead of "to it" because it seems more common to be "to them."
Another possibility is that the quote says he takes "from them" (from the
different trees) and he warms himself, cooks, and makes the god and the
idol. Maybe he will bow "to them" means to the different kinds of wood or
trees in the idol, if the pedestal and the statue are from different woods. I
don't know if they have any ancient wooden idols to see if they were made
from more than one kind of wood.
