QM (or QWM) and QYM are, so to say, two faces of the same coin.
So, their meaning is similar but their conjugation differs.
Meaning:
-QM or QWM = to stand (Am 5:2)
-QYM = to fulfill, keep -----> it is a derivation of QM, an "invention" of
the wise (Middle Ages, methinks). Not found in the Bible.
Conjugation:
-QM or QWM = in a general way it behaves like verbs ayin-waw.
-QYM behaves like usual pi'els.
This phaenomenon happens with other verbs:
-SG or SWG, to deviate
-SYG, to enclose.
Remark: ONE coin that has TWO different faces > ONE root, TWO derivations,
each having its own meaning.
