1. YAAKOB had 12 sons who grew up into adulthood.
2. They moved into neighboring territories, carrying with them their language, but got eventually disconnected from the main body of the nation of Israel.

Maybe but

It still does not address the issue of feeding an increase of population in the long run,
in the middle of wars and epidemics.

Why did they marry foreign wifes if they supposedly had an increase in the number of available women born within their own kinship?
